A legacy rooted in faith, family, service, and the enduring spirit of rural America.
Who We Are
Andrews Farms is a family-owned and operated registered Black Angus cow-calf operation dedicated to producing high-quality cattle with exceptional genetics, sound structure, and strong maternal traits. Surrounded by the natural beauty and rolling pastures of Southwest Virginia, the farm is built on hard work, integrity, and a deep passion for agriculture.
Andrews Farms is proudly operated by the Andrews family — Mike and Tammy Andrews alongside their children, Dr. McKenna Andrews and Gage Andrews. Together, they bring a rare combination of military discipline, veterinary science, and boots-on-the-ground farming knowledge to every aspect of the operation.
Every calf raised on the farm reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and the future of the beef industry — while honoring the traditions of family farming passed down through generations.
What makes Andrews Farms especially unique is the family story behind it. Mike Andrews is a disabled United States Marine Corps veteran whose dedication, discipline, and perseverance continue to shape the values of the farm today.
Those same principles of service, commitment, and resilience are woven into every part of the operation — from caring for the cattle to preserving the land for future generations.
Andrews Farms is more than a cattle operation. It is a legacy rooted in faith, family, service, and the enduring spirit of rural America.
"The same values that made me a Marine are the same values that make us good stewards of this land and this herd."
The People Behind the Farm
Founder & Patriarch
A disabled United States Marine Corps veteran, Mike's discipline, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to excellence define every aspect of the operation. His service to this country is reflected in the integrity with which he leads the farm.
Co-Founder & Matriarch
Tammy is the heart of Andrews Farms — managing the day-to-day care of the herd, keeping meticulous records, and ensuring every animal receives the attention it deserves. Her dedication to the cattle and the land is unmatched.
Health & Genetics Lead
Dr. McKenna is a second-year internal medicine resident physician at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). She brings her medical training and scientific discipline to the farm, leading herd health oversight, EPD selection, and genetic planning. Her analytical approach ensures Andrews Farms stays at the forefront of registered Black Angus genetics.
Operations, Land Management & Law Enforcement
Gage serves as a police officer with the City of Kingsport, Tennessee, bringing the same dedication and discipline to public service that he brings to the farm. When he's not on duty, Gage manages the daily operations of Andrews Farms — from pasture rotation and fence maintenance to feeding and cattle handling.

What We Stand For
Our faith guides every decision we make — from how we treat our animals to how we steward the land entrusted to us.
Andrews Farms is a family operation in every sense. Every member of the Andrews family plays an active role in the daily life of the farm.
Rooted in Mike's military service, we believe in giving back — to our community, our customers, and the land that sustains us.
We stand behind every animal we sell. Our word is our bond, and our reputation is built one honest transaction at a time.
We select only the best genetics, practice the best husbandry, and hold ourselves to the highest standards in everything we do.
We farm with the next generation in mind — preserving the land, the herd, and the traditions of family agriculture for those who come after us.
We welcome serious buyers to visit Andrews Farms. Come walk the pastures, meet the cattle, and see firsthand what makes our genetics stand apart.
